But there's one major hurdle that could prevent 15 year old American Coco Gauff from playing here.
The Wimbledon starlet's current ranking of 141 isn't high enough to make the main draw in Auckland.
Budge says the complication is they can't give her a wildcard because of her age.
He says she has to be able to get into the tournament on her own rights and if her ranking can get up over the next few months to finish inside the top 70 then they are reasonable odds to get her to come and play in Auckland.
