Kiwis can breathe easy knowing the worst of the flu season has been and gone

Latest figures shows a drop in flu and flu-like illnesses around the country for the fourth week in a row.
People showing symptoms have dropped from more than 2-thousand 600 at the beginning of July to 850 for the past week.
ESR Public Health Physician Sarah Jefferies says this season's been bad for a number of reasons.
She says it comes down to the number of people being vaccinated and general immunity from exposure to other viruses.
