    A child is among five people injured in a serious crash in south Auckland


    Great South Road is closed between Cavendish Drive and Ronwood Avenue following a single car crash about 3.30 this morning.

    The child has been transferred to Starship Hospital.

    Four others have taken to Middlemore Hospital with a range of injuries.

    Motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
