Home owners being reassured gas safe following explosion

Ten properties were made uninhabitable and six people were injured in Northwood last month.

But WorkSafe is assuring locals they can safely use reticulated gas.

Energy Safety manager, Mark Wogan, says they've finished an important part of the investigation and there are no issues with the area's gas pipes.

Wogan says it's not usual to give updates, but they're aware of high concern in the community.
