The Opportunities Party is gearing up for the 2020 general election
10 August 2019
The party's unveiled a renewed focus on the environment at its annual general meeting today in Auckland.
It's also shared its re-brand with members - that is to be made public later this year.
Leader Geoff Simmons says they want to build a clean and clever economy.
He says they have many big environmental challenges ahead of us - so they're willing to work with anyone to get the best deal for the environment.
Simmons says while the environment is a key focus for the Green Party, last week they ruled out working with National.
He says this means they will remain 'shackled to Labour's left flank', with no bargaining power.
