In September 2017, officer Sean Doak pursued a speeding driver from Mount Eden to the SkyCity casino carpark, where a man bolted from the scene, leaving a young woman.
That woman was easily restrained by police officers, and left face down on the ground.
It's alleged CCTV footage shows Doak kneeling down beside the woman and drawing his Taser near her head.
The prosecution says when the woman was being driven home by the officers, Doak again drew his Taser - and showed the woman its live electrical current.
The defence accepts the Taser's trigger was pulled - but there's no evidence to suggest the weapon was actually presented at the woman.
