A trainee cop's put her skills to the test - saving a schoolboy's life - before refereeing a rugby match

Punaarika O'Sullivan from Wellington College was knocked out by a tackle at an under-15s match on Saturday.

Monique Dalley rushed on the field and began CPR.

She says he was originally breathing - but his condition deteriorated quickly.

Dalley says after about 10 compressions, O'Sullivan began breathing again.

O'Sullivan was discharged from Wellington Hospital on Sunday.
