Frustrations from Wellington commuters with all trains brought to a halt for a second time this morning

Frustrations from Wellington commuters with all trains brought to a halt for a second time this morning

All lines are suspended and replaced by bus due to an obstruction on the overhead causing damage to multiple trains.

They've had to be taken out of service and inspected to prevent further damage to other trains and overhead power lines.

Commuters say they've had to wait on stalled trains for up to an hour and have decided to give up and go home.

Regional councillor Daran Ponter says it's not good enough.

He says given that we had a similar type of half recently, commuters are getting fed up with it.
