A call for compulsory Health Star Rating labels on our food

Research from Auckland University and the The George Institute of Global Heath's revealed most of our packaged food is unhealthy.
It looked at 13-thousand packaged foods on our supermarket shelves.
Researchers found nearly seventy per cent of it was ultra-processed.
Report author Dr Sally Mackay says Health Star Ratings are only on one-fifth of products at the moment.
She says it means consumers can't make an informed choice on what the healthiest option is.
