    A South Canterbury man has been arrested after two arsons in Galloway in Central Otago


    The fires on August 13 and 14 were in an unoccupied homestead and an occupied workers' accommodation.

    No one was injured and there was limited damage.

    The 38 year old has been charged with arson, burglary and making false statements to police.

    He's due to appear in the Alexandra District court tomorrow.
