Defending Olympic champion's Peter Burling and Blair Tuke have won their test event in Enoshima - the location of next year's Games

They've finished eighth in the double points medal race to claim the title by 11 points.

In a potential sign of positive results to come, the pair won the test event in Rio before claiming Olympic gold a year later.

Coincidentally, their Olympic silver medal was prefaced by a second place finish, 12 months earlier.
