Burning rubber will be a key objective for drivers at this weekend's latest Australian Supercars event at the Bend in Adelaide

Burning rubber will be a key objective for drivers at this weekend's latest Australian Supercars event at the Bend in Adelaide

Each car will be equipped with a hard tyre when racing on the track as opposed to the more traditional soft tyre.

Kiwi driver Shane Van Gisbergen says it'll be cold this weekend so will be difficult to make the tyres heat up on the track.

    Practice starts this afternoon.
