Wellington's CentrePort has seen an increase in profit

The port company has released its annual results for the financial year, with an underlying after tax profit of 16.6 million dollars.

That's a 41 per cent increase from the previous year.

Log exports and the number of cruise ships visiting the capital both hit record marks.
