    Police are still searching for the driver of a car involved in a hit and run in Christchurch last night


    A pedestrian was taken to hospital with moderate injuries after being hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Cashel St and Fitzgerald Ave about 7 last night.

    The driver fled the scene.

    Police say they don't know the make of the offending car.
