Arrangements are being made in Tonga following the death of Prime Minister Akilisi Pohiva

He died in Auckland yesterday after being flown from Tonga on Wednesday after a battle with pneumonia.

An official statement is expected shortly and funeral arrangements will be announced once plans are finalised.

Officials are expecting Parliament will meet soon after the funeral to call for nominations for a new Prime Minister.
