The Pharmaceutical Society says increasing the number of vaccination sites is crucial in preventing disease outbreaks

The Pharmaceutical Society says increasing the number of vaccination sites is crucial in preventing disease outbreaks

From 2020, all intern pharmacists will be trained as vaccinators as part of the intern training programme.

Society spokesperson Ian McMichael says the community pharmacy is the most convenient access point for vaccinations.

He says the measles outbreak should never have happened, and he believes it's been caused by a lack of access.
