The man charged over the fatal stabbing in Christchurch at the weekend - has been granted interim name suppression

Ngaoa Kokaua sustained serious stab wounds at a Riccarton property about 9pm on Saturday.
He left the scene, but later died.
A 31 year old charged with murder entered no plea when he appeared by video link to a closed district court.
He has been remanded in custody until his next appearance at the High Court in Christchurch on October 4.
A 38-year-old man charged with assault with a wooden stick, also appeared by video link.
He has been granted interim name suppression and remanded in custody until a bail hearing tomorrow morning.
