Springboks halfback Faf de Klerk has thrown his best spin pass to turn a perceived negative into a positive

Springboks halfback Faf de Klerk has thrown his best spin pass to turn a perceived negative into a positive

De Klerk is one of eight overseas-based players in South Africa's 31-man World Cup rugby squad.

New Zealand don't allow overseas based players to be picked, but de Klerk says seeing other styles of rugby benefits his side.

Former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan believes two of the side's greats could be gone by the next Ashes series.

With the urn on its way south, attention's turning to how they can win it in Australia for the first time since 2010/11.

Speaking on his BBC show, Vaughan's suggested pace bowlers James Anderson and Stuart Broad will struggle to return together with the likes of Jofra Archer coming into the reckoning.

Lionel Messi's been named in Barcelona's squad for tomorrow's Champions League opener against Borussia Dortmund, after recovering from a calf injury.

The Barca captain last played in July for Argentina during the Copa America.
