It's successfully prosecuted a pet store business over two branches' care of a kitten, a water dragon and two leopard geckos.
E Z Step Ltd - trading as Petstop - has been ordered to pay 10 thousand, 687 dollars to SPCA.
SPCA CEO Andrea Midgen says you have to be very careful with temperature, humidity and water for reptiles.
She says there was no heat or UV light source in the cages for the geckos, which is like putting them in the arctic.
