Interislander says impact from terminal closure during school holidays should be minimal

The Interislander says the impact should be minimal for passengers during school holidays while one of the Wellington terminal buildings is closed

The arrival terminal's been shut after it was confirmed to be below acceptable earthquake risk levels.

Passengers will be rerouted through the Departures Hall instead.

KiwiRail chief operations officer Todd Moyle says they're working to minimise the impacts.

He says they're conscious it's the school holidays in a week's time, but says transfers will be seamless.
