A New Zealand search and rescue organisation is helping in the search for a seven-year-old boy missing in the Cook Islands

A New Zealand search and rescue organisation is helping in the search for a seven-year-old boy missing in the Cook Islands

The boy was with his family on the Lady Moana yesterday afternoon when he went missing off Aitutaki.

The Rescue Coordination Centre is providing drift modelling information to give searchers a better idea of where to look.

A Cook Islands Police patrol boat, a large number of local vessels and Air Rarotonga are all searching for the boy.
