The 13-strong team to compete at the World Championships have been training in Cyprus for the past fortnight, in part to prepare for the heat expected in Doha.
However the stadium in Doha will be air conditioned, meaning it will be much cooler than the 30 degree temperatures they've been training in.
High jumper Hamish Kerr says despite that, their heat training won't be wasted.
Paddy Bevin has his eyes set on becoming a World Champion.
The kiwi cyclist will compete in the men's time trial at the world championships in Yorkshire tonight.
Bevin has good form coming into event, having finished second in the individual time trial stage at the Vuelta a Espana earlier this month.
And Fiji are about to take on Uruguay in Pool D at the Rugby World Cup.
The Fijians are playing their second pool match after the opening loss to Australia while the South American's are playing their opening match.
Kick off is at 5-15.
