Auckland's measles outbreak is being labelled a wake up call in regards to immunisation rates

There have been 1246 cases in the region so far this year.
Auckland incident management team member Dr John Cameron says they're seeing people fronting up for vaccinations at a much greater rate than normal.
He says it's also highlighted to the population the effectiveness of immunisation and what happens when levels drop.
