    A shambles for Ferrari in the Russian Formula One grand prix


    Lewis Hamilton has snatched victory in a surprise Mercedes one-two finish to stretch his lead to 73 points over teammate Valtteri Bottas with five rounds remaining.

    Bottas finished second, followed by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc in third.

    Leclerc had a radio controversy with teammate Sebastian Vettel which he struggled to explain after they held the lead.



    Vettel's retirement on the 28th of 53 laps brought out the virtual safety car that cemented Hamilton's lead.
