    Police are still investigating an alleged firearms incident in north west Auckland


    Officers were called to reports of a man pointing a firearm at another person near Westgate about 7am.

    The Police Eagle Helicopter located the man in Muriwai some time later.

    Police say the man pointed a firearm at a police officer, before being arrested without incident.
