A West Coast road is caught up in a landslide - and it's showing no signs of slowing

State Highway 7 at Omoto - between Stillwater and Greymouth - will remain closed for the weekend.
Rail lines have also been closed beyond Arthur's Pass.
An NZTA spokesperson says a historic slip activated mid-August - when the region was hammered by heavy rains.
They say half a metre of paved road has moved significantly over the last week.
Motorists can detour via Taylorville - and NZTA is investigating options.
