    It's been closed Whanganui and Raetihi since Wednesday after a slip and crack appeared about 500-metres north of the Matahiwi Track.

    National Road Carriers executive officer Tom Cloke says repairs before the Christmas rush would be ideal... but he's not holding his breath.
