    Two people have critical injuries from a serious crash on Corstorphine Road in Dunedin


    Police were a car had crashed into a power pole between Milburn Street and Sidey Street at around 8:50 this evening.

    A witness says the vehicle had crashed at a very high speed.

    Fire and Emergency were needed to cut one person free from the crashed vehicle.

    The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.

    There are diversions in place around the crash scene.
