Canberra's Jack Wighton has received another accolade for his league season

Canberra's Jack Wighton has received another accolade for his league season

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

He's been named in the Kangaroos 19-man squad for their tests against the Kiwis and Tonga.

That sits alongside a maiden call-up to the New South Wales Origin side, and the Clive Churchill man-of-the-match medal in the NRL final.

Last year the 26-year-old pleaded guilty to a host of charges, including assault and public urination.

Coach Mal Meninga says the decision's deserved.

The Kiwis announce their squad on Thursday.
