    Christchurch police are on the hunt for a runaway driver - who's now fled on foot


    Police gave chase after a car failed to stop for police in Burnside shortly before 3 - but quickly stopped due to the manner of driving.

    The car was pulled up soon after - and one occupant arrested.

    Police say the other ran towards Burnside Park.
