Online booking company Bachcare apologises for deleting unfavourable reviews
An apology from Bachcare after the online booking company admitted misleading consumers by deleting unfavourable reviews
11 October 2019
The Commerce Commission says Bachcare removed some negative comments - and did not publish reviews with a rating under 3.5
Its chief executive, Leslie Preston, says the charges relate to some reviews between June 2017 and September 2018 - and all reviews for that period have been removed.
She says they have new practices in place - and apologise wholeheartedly.
Bachcare has pleaded guilty to charges laid under the Fair Trading Act and will be sentenced in December.
