The Oklahoma City Thunder have shown their class in their pre-season win over the Breakers

The Oklahoma City Thunder have shown their class in their pre-season win over the Breakers

The Thunder have won 110-84, helped by kiwi Steven Adam scoring a team high 19 points.

As they did in Memphis the Breakers shot poorly, just 28 percent in the opening two quarters.

Kiwi driver Andre Heimgartner has surprised himself with the second fastest time in practice for Sunday's Bathurst 1000 at Mount Panorama.

The Nissan driver finished fractionally slower than runaway Supercars series leader Scott McLaughlin, who broke the lap record.

Heimgartner is thrilled with his speed, but isn't getting carried away.

Captain TJ Faiane insists Auckland are only worried about what they can control ahead of their must-win Mitre 10 Cup match.

To make the semis Auckland need to beat Taranaki in New Plymouth tonight, and hope Canterbury beat North Harbour on Sunday.
