    Scott McLaughlin's topped the timesheets in qualifying for Sunday's Bathurst 1000 at Mount Panorama


    The kiwi's clocked a time of 2 minutes 27 point-647 seconds with compatriot Shane Van Gisbergen 1-point-5 seconds behind in third.

    It wasn't so good for other kiwis, with Richie Stanaway and Fabian Coulthard missing out on the top 10, and will start the race from 12th and 16th respectively.

    The top 10 shootout is tomorrow.
