World Rugby is disappointed with Scotland Rugby's comments around potential legal action should tomorrow's crunch World Cup game against Japan not go ahead or not be rescheduled

World Rugby is disappointed with Scotland Rugby's comments around potential legal action should tomorrow's crunch World Cup game against Japan not go ahead or not be rescheduled

A statement says World Rugby is doing all it can to enable all the matches go ahead as scheduled, while there is a real and significant threat to public safety with what's predicted to be one of the most destructive typhoons to hit Japan in 60 years.

World Rugby says Scotland along with 19 other teams signed the terms of participation for the tournament.

They add that as they said when they cancelled the two other matches, rescheduling or relocating was not able to be done on an even-handed basis.
