Diamonds coach Lisa Alexander concedes Australian netball is in a weird spot at the moment

Diamonds coach Lisa Alexander concedes Australian netball is in a weird spot at the moment

Alexander's side have lost both of their last two major finals - the Commonwealth Games and the World Cup.

In both instances they were favourites, but Alexander says those results are an indication of stronger competition.

The Diamonds take on the Silver Ferns in the opener of the Constellation Cup today in Christchurch.

    Centre pass is at 4pm.
