The Wellington Phoenix are holding out for the right man to fill the final spot on their roster

A week into the season, the A-League football club is still searching for a striker to replace golden boot winner Roy Krishna.

General manager David Dome says with the competition entering a new era, it's essential they get the decision right.

The Phoenix can't wait too long though, as the transfer window closes at the end of the day.
