A woman living in a tiny house has invoiced her regional council for nearly ten thousand dollars, for the anguish caused by trying to sort out her wastewater

Lee Kirkman moved her purple 'fairy house' on to a Mamaku section this month and thought it would be her forever home.
But there's a problem.
She can't shower or use her dishwasher - and cannot legally use her toilet.
Her frustrations at trying to sort out the issues have prompted her to invoice the Bay of Plenty Regional Council nine thousand six hundred dollars, for "causing mental and emotional anguish".
But ... the council says it will not pay.
However it has acknowledged more could have been done to help her navigate the process.
