A report reveals Maori with higher levels of education are less likely to be hazardous drinkers

The Health Promotion Agency lead report was based on hazardous drinking in this country..
Director of Alcohol Healthwatch Nicki Jackson says the findings are positive, but there is still more work to be done to allow Maori to have equal access to health and wellbeing.
She says inequities in alcohol harm are preventable if we are committed to addressing social factors related to drinking.
