    Two people are set to appear in court today following a serious assault in Mangere over the weekend


    A 31-year-old man was assaulted on Naylors Drive in the early hours of Saturday and was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

    A 20 year old and a 23 year old will appear in the Manukau District Court today, while another person is still being sought.

    Police are still speaking to witnesses but say it was an isolated incident.
