Police are preparing to release more details on the fatal crash - at a media conference

Metro Area Commander Superintendent Lane Todd says says it's an absolute tragedy and a horrific outcome - and the decision whether or not to pursue a fleeing driver is one of the most serious decisions frontline staff face

The crash will be subject to investigations by both the Independent Police Conduct Authority and Police
