Police have released CCTV footage of a missing 75-year-old - who was last seen walking along Hibiscus Coast Highway, north of Auckland

Police have released CCTV footage of a missing 75-year-old - who was last seen walking along Hibiscus Coast Highway, north of Auckland

Former rugby league coach Mike McClennan hasn't been seen since about 5pm last Wednesday.

Police say they're racing against the clock to try and find McClennan, who has dementia.

Earlier, they said he was wearing a red and black jacket, but now say he possibly took off the jacket - wearing a black T-shirt.

Police say they need to know if anyone drove him anywhere.

The CCTV footage is available on the North Shore, Rodney and West Auckland Police Facebook Page.
