    The Forestry Ministry is putting down roots in Rotorua


    Forestry Minister Shane Jones announced this morning a Forestry Hub will be established at Scion's Rotorua campus.

    The minister says they wanted a strong regional presence - and the building will use New Zealand timber and sustainable construction techniques.

    Rotorua Mayor Steve Chadwick says the hub will graft together wood and science - including the billion trees programme, DOC, and Scion's research.
