Some Auckland schools are going digital for the upcoming NCEA exams
2 November 2019
Glendowie College is one of 35 Auckland secondary schools where some students will take their exams on a computer, rather than pen and paper.
Principal Richard Dykes says about 100 of his 800 NCEA students are trying the online exams in English, Te Reo Maori, business studies, and media studies.
He says only one English class is taking the exam online, because they don't want to risk the year group crashing the network.
