Health experts are baffled as to why people would try to steal community defibrillators

An AED at Naenae School in Wellington's Hutt Valley has had to be locked inside after someone attempted to take it.
One was also stolen from a Wellington football club in June.
New Zealand Resuscitation Council's Jonathon Webber says there's no reason for people to steal them.
Webber says there's no resale value for them and the parts can't be used for any other purpose.
