Lisa Corfield has been disqualified from owning horses for ten-years - after SPCA investigators found her paddocks had no grazeable grass, and 30 percent was contaminated with faeces in early 2017.
SPCA CEO Andrea Midgen says the horses suffered for an intolerably long time, living with the mental and physical anguish of being starved.
Corfield has been sentenced to 250 hours' community work, ordered to pay 300 dollars towards legal costs, and just over 7000 dollars in reparations.
