    Black Sticks veteran Kayla Whitelock's family is to thank for her coming out of retirement as the team builds towards next year's Tokyo Olympics

    Whitelock last played for New Zealand at the 2016 Olympics.

    Gemma McCaw has also returned to the squad for the first time since Rio.
