    Up-and-coming Tall Fern Matangiroa Flavell is buzzing at the opportunity to play in front of a home crowd in their first match of the Women's Olympic Qualifying Series in Auckland


    The 22-year-old made her international debut at July's William Jones Cup after cutting short her time on a basketball scholarship in the US.

    She says she's excited to play for the first time in front of friends and family who have made the trip up from Rotorua to watch her play.



    The Tall Ferns tip off their campaign against the Philippines tomorrow night at 7:30pm at Trusts Arena.
