The Herald understands the former Kiwis and Warriors hooker is close to signing with the Saint George Illawarra Dragons.
Luke left the Mount Smart club last season and has played 270 NRL games.
Cameron McInnes is the Dragons hooking incumbent, but he's indicated a desire to spend time at lock next season.
