Residents in Indonesia are fleeing to higher ground following a 7.4 earthquake off the Molucca Sea

The quake struck at quarter past 11 Thursday night local time, at a depth of 10 kilometres.

It's triggered a tsunami warning for nearby coastal areas, but there are no immediate reports of damage in Ternate - which is the largest city in the area.
