    Five people are injured after a car went down a bank near Pigeon Bay, on Banks Peninsula


    Emergency services were called to the single-car incident on Port Levy-Pigeon Bay Road at around quarter past twelve.

    A police spokesperson says initial indications are two people are seriously injured, and three moderately injured.

    Rescue helicopters are attending the scene of the crash, and the road is now closed between Pa Road and Little Pigeon Bay Road.
